The food is excellent! Everything we had tasted fresh and of high quality. The crawfish etouffee was creamy and full of flavor. Their Five Cheese Macaroni is the best! Last but not least, the blackened catfish was an art of its own. There are three tables inside and about 3-6 outside. If you're dining in, call ahead to check the wait time. The wait time was worth it!

I ordered the catfish platters, nachos and bonding balls for the family. After trying her gumbo, I had to have more. The food is absolutely delicious. I will be using Mama Jambalaya for my next catering event.

The chicken gumbo has a subtle taste and a pinch of seasoning 2/5, the tacos were zesty the fish was coated well and had a nice crunch to it. There’s shredded chicken in it and dirty rice i assume the slaw on top with that lol orange sauce didn’t do it for me. I tried it as a taco and each element alone it was just vey sour & not good. I had 2 others come and taste test everything to ensure it wasn’t just me. The stuffed turkeys leg was massive & the were not fans it lacked flavor and the appearance was not very appetizing. The color of the stuffing was a stovetop with sage feeling. The gravy on top was thick and bland but the shrimp was good to them. Let’s end on a high the service was top notch and the beignets were a sweet pillowy treat.

We found this while visiting and assumed it would be a bit more of a restaurant experience than it was. It’s a food truck that has a building and has same food truck concept and pricing. 3 small tables inside and few outside.

Wife and I shared the chicken andouille gumbo which was okay, good roux and flavorful. The fried catfish was hot and similar tasting as other places. The five cheese Mac & cheese was atrocious, not creamy and we should’ve received complimentary drinks to get the Mac down smh. For $28 not worth it.

If it's Cajun food, I have to try it! The reviews don't lie people! Cajun Skillet is a 5 star restaurant, and I can't wait until the Temple location is open. We walked in as they opened, and we were immediately welcomed in by the workers. The guy working the register was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave some great recommendations! After three Olivia's, a Hot Sausage Po Boy, a daiquiri, two basil lemonades, an order of beignets, and a peach bread pudding, it was all demolished! I can appreciate all the fresh flavors I tasted in the Olivia. If you know good cajun food, you know it starts with the, "holy trinity." Must try if you are in the Cedar Park area. Hey y'all,

Cajun Skillet is amazing! I tried them for the first time yesterday and everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and well portioned! The mac and cheese melts in your mouth, the shrimp are large and flavorful, the dirty rice, red beans and rice and gumbo had soooo much rich flavor and the perfect amount of spice! I also tried the chicken tenders and catfish which were big, juicy, flavorful and perfectly fried and the fries are anything but boring. Lastly for dessert...the peach raisin followed by the blueberry lemon bread pudding...pure magic! (just an fyi, I didn't eat all of this by myself!)

Give them a try...get some amazing food and meet some amazing people. You won't regret it!

As close to eating back in Louisiana as I can possibly get. Loved everything and the service is excellent. I see a lot of reviews about the Mac and Cheese and I'm thinking it's a cultural thing. Some kinds of folks like baked Mac n cheese which is a bit thicker than the "creamy loose mac" that some other people are accustomed to. With that being said, it was the best Mac I've had in a while because so many places make it creamy and I don't prefer that. I'll be back. Everything is flavorful! Zero complaints ✨️?
