Delicious food? Check. Creative custom cocktails? Check. Easy communication and all questions answered quickly over email? Check! My fiancé and I had an easy time working with the great staff at Oak & Honey. Chef Zach is so knowledgable and creative when pairing flavors - he was able to make a beautiful menu based on our preferences and helped guide us in feeding so many people. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear Chef Zach explain his sustainability practices - be sure to ask him about the efforts he takes towards low food waste and locally grown foods! The appetizers, meals and desserts were all delicious and met the needs of our wedding guests, with all of their varied allergies and preferences. Holly was our point person and is so organized and helpful. The catering staff at the event were lovely to our guests (and me, the bride - one caterer followed me around with a tray just for me so I could make sure to sample each appetizer!!). We booked Oak & Honey to cater our mini wedding (9 guests total) and couldn't have been happier. They were professional but friendly, responsive and very organised. More importantly their food was absolutely divine, we loved every aspect of it, they have a really great sense for mixing great ingredients to create incredible flavours. Our guests said it was the "best wedding meal they ever had". I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them, I highly recommend you book them for any size event.

Zach and his team at Oak & Honey catered our wedding in upstate NY in August. We opted for his family style Mediterranean menu for 130 people on the Saturday night and bagels and lox for a recovery brunch the next day. Working with Zach was a great experience from the very beginning. He hosted us for an amazing tasting in early 2019 so we could get an idea of the different options for canapes, appetizers, mains, desserts etc. and we left so happy and SO full (with plenty of leftovers).

For the actual wedding his attention to detail was incredible and we were really happy with how everything turned out. All the food was presented beautifully, the team made sure to save me and my husband a special plate of canapes since we were so busy milling around and they assigned us a personal server at dinner which was a very nice touch. Everything was so seamless and thoughtful and our friends and family are still raving about the food. Zach also prepped us late night food: the BEST grilled cheese with caramelized onions (still dreaming about it), popcorn and smores - these were a big hit.

I'd recommend the Oak & Honey team to anyone. They have a great selection of menus to suit different tastes and price points plus they're really great people. They genuinely care about what they're doing and want your event to be as perfect as you do.

Zach and the rest of the team at Oak & Honey were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! They came highly recommended and exceeded each and every one of our expectations for our big day. They worked with us to help set the menu and bar list as well as significantly contribute to the planning of the logistics of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We had to pivot the location of our wedding to a private residence on very short notice and Zach and the Oak & Honey team were essential to making the transition seamless.

The food menu was sophisticated and delicious and made the best possible use of all the seasonal and local ingredients of the New York area in the fall. The specialty cocktails the bartenders concocted were a huge hit with the guests and there was no request the bar staff was not able to fulfill. His support and wait staff were professional, courteous, and went out of their way to make us and our guests feel like we were being taken care of.

Overall we could not have imagined having hired a better catering company than Oak & Honey and we would recommend them to anyone looking for an event of any size! We are personally looking forward to working with Oak & Honey again for any other events we plan in the future!

Broadly Entertaining

We were the day-of coordinators hired to work with Oak & Honey for a Downtown Brooklyn wedding. The whole team was super impressive! We had the pleasure of working with Holly who was incredibly understanding and accommodating with many shifts and last minute choices, she remained flexible, going above and beyond.

We had the pleasure of meeting Zach on the day of the wedding and he was super friendly. He led his team well, taking every curve ball and knocking them out of the park.

They were all a dream to work with. I hope our paths cross again! We'll definitely be recommending them to our future clients!

We worked with Oak & Honey to cater our engagement party and they did so much more than just cater! Holly worked very closely with us, our venue and our florist to bring everything together seamlessly and within our budget. From email communication to phone calls, site visit and day-of support I cannot imagine doing this without Oak & Honey's support! The food was gorgeous and delicious and everything ran incredibly smoothly. I cannot recommend Oak & Honey highly enough!
