David is an amazing chef, with impeccable taste in elegance. My daughter’s Quinceañera celebration was magical thanks to the thoughtful details that went into the decor, delicious food and service. Truly Top Tier! I am still finding it hard to believe how incredible a job David and his team executed my 16 person fine dining dinner party. From the beginning stages of planning, David was professional and responsive to all my questions and requests and together we came up with the perfect menu and plan. The day of the event the entire team showed up on time, and went straight to work prepping for guests to arrive. They were even so kind to help me complete some last minute table set up. We planned for a 5 course dinner service and a bartender to serve signature drinks. As my guests arrived they were greeted with a drink and once dinner service began EVERY SINGLE COURSE THAT CAME OUT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Not only did EVERY dish taste delicious but the presentation and service was also amazing. On top of all that, they also cleaned everything up and left my kitchen like new. I was truly blown away and my guests have not stopped raving to me about the food and drinks at the event!! I absolutely recommend SoFlo chefs and plan to use them exclusively for all my future catering/private chef needs. 🙂

Unreal experience! We used David as our private chef on New Year’s Eve. He cooked such delicious appetizers and entrees for 11 of us on a boat. He was very communicative, accommodating to our menu preferences, VERY aware of allergies and made substitutions accordingly, clean, attentive and the food was outstanding. Our family was so pleased! We loved the shrimp scampi and the coffee crusted tenderloin was excellent! Will definitely be reaching out to David for our next event (wish we took more pics of the seated meal - but we were busy enjoying it!)

When it comes to throwing a party that leaves everyone talking (and not just about which guest was “turnt”, all the way up), the secret ingredient is, without a doubt, the food.
That's why I'm over the moon to share my experience with SoFlo Caterers. They didn't just cater my client's milestone birthday bash; they practically stole the show! Chef Norma and her culinary wizards swooped in with the grace of kitchen ninjas, delivering a spread that was both eye-candy and soul food. Seriously, the presentation alone was like Instagram come to life – if Instagram could also make your taste buds do a happy dance.
Promptness? Check. They arrived on time, ready to roll, with smiles that suggested they knew exactly the magic they were about to unfold. The food was ready faster than you could say “Where’s the cake?”, served up with a side of excellence. And get this – they left the kitchen spotless. I’m talking ‘mom-tested, white-glove-approved’ clean. It’s like they were never there, but the lingering flavors in the air begged to differ.
So, if you're planning an event and want to ensure your guests are left swooning over the food long after the decor has been packed away, do yourself a favor and get SoFlo Caterers on your team. We had a wonderful dinner prepared by Chef David for my birthday. He took care of everything!! He cooked and cleaned. I mixed and matched food items from different menus and he was able to accommodate my request for 2 appetizers instead of an app and a dessert (I already had a birthday cake). He is personable and this was such a treat to have a chef cook for me in my home. Everyone loved it! Hopefully we will get to enjoy another meal one day. For reference we had: watermelon & peach salad, tuna tartare, chicken piccata (which came with pasta and vegetables).

I cannot recommend Soflo Chefs enough. David's communication was flawless from beginning to end - he's incredibly responsive, knowledgable and helped me build a custom menu for a 12-person bachelorette party. Our chef, Jason, was the absolute best. He arrived early, was very friendly, and cooked an incredible 3-course meal (including 2 appetizers and 2 entrees plus dessert, with a vegetarian option for one of our guests). It's clear in the work product as well as his personality that he loves his craft. Amazing experience all around!
