Wonderful evening ‘Cooking with the Bear.’ Chef Vivi and Chef Michi opened their immaculate home for a 4-course meal we will never forget. They added a slight twist with their own home cultures (Peru and Japan) to every dish. I learned how to cut onions like a chef and how to make boba pearls! We had Sydney’s omelet with potato chips, Adobo mushrooms, Carmy’s chicken piccata with Sydney’s risotto and asparagus, and the Bear sundae. So fun. Absolutely delicious! Loved having an amazing home-cooked meal without dish-duty! Will highly recommend to all my friends (both the cooking class and the catering). Will be coming back for sushi lessons!

We had a French cooking class with Vivi and Michi and had a wonderful time. We made ratatouille, rice pilaf, boulibase, and crème brûlée. Vivi and Michi made it so easy. They did a great job of simplifying the approach to the recipes and talked us through each step. It was a very hands on experience. We have already booked our next session.

A Truly Exceptional Cooking Experience – 10/10!

I had the pleasure of attending this cooking class, and I can confidently say it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

First, the instructors, Chef Vivi and Chef Michi, were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. They guided us step-by-step through each recipe and shared valuable tips and tricks that I can easily apply in my own kitchen. The hands-on approach made the experience engaging, and I truly felt like I was learning something worthwhile.

The atmosphere was welcoming and fun — a perfect balance of education and social interaction. At first, we were a bit skeptical about attending a class in a private home, but the space was spotless, well-equipped, and the ingredients were top-notch. We arrived 15 minutes late due to traffic, but Chef Vivi and Chef Michi were so understanding and made sure we still had plenty of time for questions and individual attention. This made the experience feel truly personalized.

And the best part? The food we made was *delicious*! We left not only with new skills but also with a newfound confidence in the kitchen. Plus, we got to take home the recipes, so I’m excited to try them again at home!

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned cook, this class is worth every penny. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m already looking forward to signing up for the next one!

Vivi and Michi are not only awesome people but great Chefs! I have hired them more than once, first we did the Sushi Making class and we loved it!
