Can't recommend Todd and his catering outfit highly enough. We catered an event for 30 people. The quality of the food far exceeded our expectations. The food was prompt, communication was excellent, and handoff was seamless. Everything was as promised. Will certainly use for our next event.

Todd was professional and quick to respond; when I made changes to the menu, he immediately made the changes with no problems, as a caterer with his own business should. The menu on the website is easy to read and navigate. The prices are up to date.

Operationally, everything worked just fine. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not match the level of service.

For Mother's Day, I ordered a large tray of penne a la vodka (to serve 20 ppl) and a large tray of chicken Coq au Vin (also serving 20 ppl). We were 14 ppl for the Mother's Day celebration, but was fine to order the large bc my family EATS.

The food was soo disappointing that no one even went for seconds, nevermind the doggie bags they always pack.

The penne was overcooked, mushy, and bland. I could have done a better job with a jar of Rao's.

The chicken was dry and flavorless. Nothing like Coq au Vin I've made before. I expect a caterer to do a better job than I can in my own kitchen.

I am leaving this review for someone else who is looking at reviews. I always read reviews and this business only had good reviews, so I don't know if this was a one off or a new chef or what...? But it cost me a pretty penny to find out the hard way, unfortunately on Mother's Day.

We used Hoboken Catering for our wedding of over 250 guests and we're extremely happy with the results. Our wedding was in a greenhouse which presented many challenges, none of which were too difficult for Todd and his crew. They paid attention to detail and made all of our requests come to life. The food was excellent, from the mini lobster rolls and grilled cheese tomato soup shooters, to the pasta and carving stations. We would recommend Hoboken Catering for any and all of your catering needs.
